3. Fill out the application form: Request and complete the barangay certification application form with accurate details.

5. Pay the processing fee: Proceed to the barangay treasurer’s office to pay the applicable fee.
6. Receive the certification: The barangay captain or an authorized officer will review and sign the certification, which is usually issued on the same day.
   The barangay certification is generally valid for six months to one year, depending on its purpose. It is advisable to renew it as required, especially for employment or business transactions.
